Lead DevOps Engineer at Primeworks
We are a staff augmentation and software development company expanding into DevOps service. We are looking for a senior DevOps leader who can come in and initially be hands-on with 2 existing clients and then help build and lead a team as we scale our DevOps services across North America.

Remote Responsibilities
We are in search of a Lead DevOps Engineer to anchor the buildout of new team that will support the infrastructure and engineering operations for two technology teams within the enterprise. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Help to staff and manage junior and mid-level DevOps engineers
- Work with engineers to scale and maintain our production systems
- Define SLOs and ensure that SLIs are measured for new services
- Manage and use tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform
- Profile server/service loads and plan for future capacity requirements, scaling, and optimization
- Plan, implement and maintain platform and system upgrades
- Help troubleshoot service issues and recommend solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting developers and infrastructure on projects with scale
- Experience with GCP services including GKE and CloudSQL
- Experience building CI/CD platforms from the ground up
- Bonus: Experience implementing ArgoCD
